I just reinstalled and played all the original Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear games and mission packs. Now I reinstalled Raven Shield.
I did remember that RvS isn't as good as Rogue Spear, but DAMN! The game really sucks. I mean how did they manage to be so effective in ruining the planning phase? No cover or defend options. And choosing ROE is a pain in the ######, especially if the waypoints are close to each other. I'm supposed to complete the first mission but I'm so frustrated with planning right now that I don't know what to do. When action phase finally starts, the character has to sway like he's drunk or something. I guess I can get used to that. But everytime a bad guy sees me he shouts something like 'HEY' so I have time to turn and shoot him. Just shut up and kill me. |

I didn't compare RvS to Vegas. Of course Vegas is even worse.
Rogue Spear gameplay and especially the planning phase is just superior. |
